Determine the type of take

Check the list of subscriptions or configurations. Two different scenarios are possible:

  • The same subscription is added multiple times.
  • Within the same subscription, servers with the same name are displayed.

The same name does not always mean identical parameters. Do not publish addresses or open the contents of the configuration in the screenshot.

Keep work access

Before deleting it, make sure that you have an up-to-date link in your personal account and that the work record is clear. If the app supports backup, use it only after testing the feature on your version.

Do not export personal data to the public cloud or send the file to third parties.

Find the re-imported subscription

Compare the title, time of addition, and the date the records were last updated. If the same link has been imported multiple times, leave an up-to-date working record. Delete only confirmed duplicates and check the list after each deletion.

In the future, use the standard update of the existing subscription. Re-import is only needed for a separate confirmed scenario.

Consider identically named servers

In the official releases of Happ Desktop 3.0.2 and 3.1.0, the developers announced a fix for a bug in which servers with the same name could be combined into a single record that was not available for ping checking. In the current desktop version, such servers should be displayed and measured separately.

Therefore, visually repetitive names should not be automatically removed. First, check the Happ version and make sure that we are not talking about different records with the same display name.

Upgrade your app and subscription

Check the latest version of Happ from a trusted source. Then, upgrade your existing subscription and restart the app. Do not update and re-import at the same time.

If the servers disappear completely after the upgrade, use a separate instruction About an empty list. If duplicate entries show N/A, go to N/A diagnostics.

How to Safely Delete a Replay

  1. Find two subscription records with the same source.
  2. Determine the up-to-date update time and operational result.
  3. Save access in your personal account.
  4. Delete only the confirmed repeat.
  5. Restart Happ.
  6. Update the remaining record.
  7. Check the list and connection.

The names of the actions must be confirmed in the current interface before publishing.

If it doesn't help

Prepare the Happ version, OS, number of subscriptions, time of duplicates, and an anonymized screenshot. Don't send a link, QR code, or server settings.

General instructions for adding data can be found in the article About Happ Access Code. For safe handling, use Support material.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the same names always duplicates?

No. Different records with the same display name can exist within a subscription. Check the version and source.

Do I need to delete my subscription and add it again?

Not the first step. First, update the existing record and delete only the confirmed repeat.

Why did duplicates appear after re-importing?

A new import can create a separate record instead of updating an existing one. The exact behavior needs to be checked on your platform.
