What to prepare before adding

Open your Happ Plus account on the device where it is convenient to copy data. Make sure that the Happ is installed and updated. If the code came in a message, first check the sender and do not send it to strangers: such a record may contain personal access data. For a phone, a QR code or a direct link is more convenient, for a computer — a link or a file. Before starting, close the old import windows so that you do not add the same record several times.

Method 1. Adding by link

Click the copy button next to the link in your account. Open Happ and look for the Add or Import action. Select import from the clipboard or paste the link into the provided field. Confirm the addition and wait for the entry to appear in the main list. If the app says that the link already exists, don't create a take: open an existing record and update. A link cannot be shortened, modified, or inserted with spaces at the beginning and end.

Method 2. Adding by QR code

Show the QR code on the second screen — for example, open your account on your computer, and Happ on your phone. In the app, select QR scanning and allow access to the camera. Place the entire code in the frame, avoiding glare and too low brightness. After recognition, check the name of the record you want to add and confirm the import. Don't post a screenshot of your personal QR code: anyone who receives the image can try to use the data it contains.

Method 3. Importing a File

Download the file only from your personal account or another trusted source. In Happ, select import from file and specify the saved document. On Android, the file is usually located in the Downloads folder, on Windows — in the Downloads folder. After successful import, the original file can be moved to secure storage or deleted if reuse is not required. Do not open unknown attachments or manually rename the file extension.

How to check the result

Once added to Happ, you should see a separate entry with a meaningful name. Open it and check the expiration date or expiration date if the app shows this information. Then, perform a normal connection and verify that the status has changed without an error message. If the record appears but the data is not updated, use the in-app update action. Re-importing is usually unnecessary and can create duplicates.

Common mistakes

If the link is not recognized, copy it again without spaces. If the QR code is not readable, increase the brightness of the second screen and clean the camera lens. If the file fails, download it again and make sure that the download is complete. A message about the expired period means that you need to check the access status in the account, and not reinstall the application. If neither method works, save the error text and Happ version before contacting support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I add the same code more than once?

Technically, the application can create a duplicate, but there is no benefit from this. If the record already exists, use its update.

Which is safer: a link or a QR code?

Both methods are safe when received from your personal account. The main thing is not to publish or send personal access data.

Why does Happ say that the data has already been added?

A record with the same address already exists in the application. Open it and update it instead of importing it again.

Do I need to keep the file after importing?

Usually not. If you don't need to re-import, you can delete the file or move it to secure storage.

Need help?

Save the error text and device details, then contact Happ Plus support.
