Check mobile data without Happ

Turn off Wi-Fi and Happ. Open a few regular websites over a mobile network. If they do not load, check the signal strength, balance or data package and the system shutdown of mobile data.

If the source network is working, make a note of the operating system, Happ version, and test time. The settings of a particular operator should not be changed without his official instructions.

Leave the same recording and mode

Connect the Happ with the same recording that works over Wi-Fi. Do not switch between server and connection mode at the same time. If you change multiple conditions, the result won't show whether the problem is really related to the mobile network.

Record the exact symptom: timeout, immediate disconnection, no internet after connection, or a specific system message. There is a separate diagnostic sequence for each of them.

Check app permissions

On Android and iOS, make sure Happ is allowed to use mobile data. The names of the system menus depend on the OS version and device manufacturer, so the editors must confirm each path on the real phone before publishing.

Do not perform a full network reset as the first step. First, turn your mobile data off and on, restart Happ, and try again.

Check background work limits

Leave Happ open on the screen and run the test. If the connection stops only after minimizing or locking the phone, the problem is related to background work and not directly to the mobile network.

For Android, use a separate instruction about Happ background disconnects. Do not transfer the names of Android settings to iPhone.

Compare other mobile networks

If possible, test with a different SIM card or through another phone's hotspot without changing the Happ record. Such a test helps to separate the device and application from a specific mobile network.

Do not conclude that the operator is limited to a single test. This requires a repeatable result and official information from the operator.

Check DNS only after localization

If Happ connects but the domain names are not opened, revert to the last working DNS setup. Do not set random values. Use a separate order DNS diagnostics.

If the mobile Internet works without Happ, but disappears completely after connection, go to the instructions "There is no internet after connecting Happ".

How to check the result

  1. Turn off Wi-Fi and Happ.
  2. Check the mobile internet.
  3. Connect the same Happ record.
  4. Save the exact result.
  5. Restart the app.
  6. Compare another mobile network or access point.
  7. Return the changed parameters after verification.

If it doesn't help

Send support phone model, OS, Happ version, time, mobile network and result via Wi-Fi. Hide your phone number, addresses, keys, and personal link.

The general procedure for applying is in the article about Happ Plus support. The reverse scenario is analyzed on the page "Happ works over a mobile network, but not over Wi-Fi".

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to change the operator's access point?

Not without the official operator's instructions. First, check the mobile internet without Happ and the app system permissions.

Why does Happ only work when the screen is open?

It's more like limiting background work or saving power. Check it separately.

Can I reset my phone's network settings right away?

No. A hard reset deletes the saved settings. Start with Reversible Checks.
