See if the interface status changes and if the system connection indicator appears. Don't set arbitrary timeouts: For editorial review, you need to measure the behavior of the current version of Happ on a specific platform.
Take an anonymized screenshot and record how long the app remained in this state. If you then see a timed message, go to the instructions About time-out.
Restart the attempt safely
Use the standard undo or disable action, if available. Close Happ completely and reopen it. Do not delete the app data or reinstall it before checking your network and subscription.
After restarting, do not enable the connection immediately. First, make sure that the interface responds, the list of entries is displayed and the regular Internet is working.
Check the source network
Open multiple sites without Happ. If they load slowly or intermittently, reconnect to the network. Compare Wi-Fi with mobile data or use a different Wi-Fi network.
If the hang occurs on only one network, save this result. Do not change router settings blindly or copy parameters from random instructions.
Check the recording and subscription
Make sure that access is active in your personal account. Update the already added record with the Happ standard action. Then, try another available option.
If another entry works, the problem is already localized and you don't need to reinstall the app. If the list is empty or shows N/A, use the appropriate narrow instruction instead of reimporting the link.
Check the mode and system query
If the hang appears after changing the TUN, system proxy, or routing, return to the last working mode. On your phone, make sure that the system connection request has been acknowledged. On your computer, check the security software warnings and the status of the network component.
Do not enable multiple applications that manage system proxies or network profiles at the same time. For the test, complete the rest of these programs and restart Happ.
Check the result
- Launch Happ after close completely.
- Select a single record to be verified.
- Start the connection once.
- Record the start time.
- Wait for the result or for the hang to recur.
- Record the interface and network status.
Repeat the same test with a different record, then over a different network. Such a matrix gives support more information than repeated presses and reinstallation.
If it doesn't help
Collect the Happ version, OS, time, network type, mode used, and the results of four comparisons: source and other record, source and other network. If the application allows you to retrieve the log, export only the snippet around the scan time and hide the secret data.
The general procedure for diagnosis is in the article "What to do if Happ connection fails". To apply, use the instructions to prepare data for support.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I press the connect button again?
First, cancel the current attempt or restart the app. Repeated clicks do not help determine the cause and can confuse the state of the interface.
Are hangs and timeouts the same?
No. When a timeout occurs, the attempt ends with a message. When hanging, the app continues to show an intermediate state.
When do you need to reinstall?
After checking the network, subscription, other entry, mode, and system permissions. Until deleted, keep access and local data.
